Clinical ReviewerBehavioral Health

Reviews medical records utilizing InterQual and MillimanCriteria in conjunction with critical thinking and decision making skills todetermine medical appropriateness, while maintaining production goals and QAstandards.


•         ActiveMinnesota license required


•         Master'sDegree in behavioral or child development sciences or allied fields includingbut not limited to:

Mental Health

Special Education

Psychology

Social Work

Speech Pathology

Nursing          

Occupational Therapy

Certification by the National Behavioral AnalystCertification Board – or – Certified – or – trained in one of the recognizedtreatment modalities for Applied Behavioral Analysis

Minimum 1 year clinical (recent preferred) experience in thedelivery of services to children with autism, or equivalent documentedcoursework by an accredited college or university in the following contentareas

ASD diagnostics

ASD treatment strategies

Typical child development

Minimum 1 year experience in UR\UM, QA or related experience

Knowledge of the organization of medical records, medicalterminology and diseases process required

Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written) withpersons of diverse backgrounds and educational levels

Excellent organization and interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments andadjust to changing priorities

Skilled in working with other in a team environment

Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access andPPT)
