HR Business Partner – Benefits

Summary Description

A detail-oriented member of the HR team who possesses andapplies a broad knowledge of HR principles and best practices with an emphasison Benefits and HRIS. Provides support to business leaders, managers andemployees across multiple states.

Accountabilities 

  • Consults with management on the interpretationof company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Maintains and enhances HR programs througheffective planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Maintains compliance and understanding withfederal and various states regulations concerning employment practices toinclude Title VII, ADEA, ADA, Equal Pay Act, FLSA.
  • Act as Benefits and HRIS subject matter expert
  • Participates in the roll-out and implementationof HR Special Projects.
  • HRIS - Manages system to support human resourcesadministration such as report writing, setup/changes and data integrityverification.
  • Maintenance of records for government/regulatoryreporting 

Qualifications               

  • Bachelor’s Degree – or - equivalent combinationof relevant experience and college education yielding the appropriate humanresources knowledge and skills, required.Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Outlook
  • Understands and maintains confidential nature ofHuman Resources. Strictly adheres to established company confidentialitypolicies
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize projects withvariable and sometimes conflicting deadlines; superior attention to detail anddemonstrated ability to problem-solve
  • Demonstrated initiative and judgment inperformance of job responsibilities, while maintaining professionalism,flexibility and dependability
  • Excellent communication (written/verbal), timemanagement and communication skills with a strong focus on customer service, including  building and maintaining relationships withinternal and external customers               

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of HR/Benefits experience in avarious disciplines.  Healthcareexperience desirable
  • Demonstrated expert level of proficiency in ADPor Ultipro preferred.
