Project Manager, Eligibility Assessment APD

(Aging & People w/Disabilities)

Providesoverall day-to-day direction and management to the Eligibility Assement Program which supports Oregonians under the age of 65 that are applying for services through APD by determining program eligibility as well as providing a foundation for service planning and referral.  Ensures that sufficient qualified staff are in compliance with contractually established metrics, goals and regulations in completing scheduled/agency approved assessments with applicants.

  • Effectively directs program throughobjectives and goals assigned for contract compliance. Monitors metrics anddaily operations to ensure success. 
  • Collaborates with team members,management teams, and corporate support teams to improve processes, determinetraining needs and improvement opportunities. Assists in budget review andmanagement.
  • Works with management and corporate teamfor the enhancement of the Contract and related new business. 
  • Oversees budget review and analysisto ensure the financial success of the program. 
  • Assesses all systems, includingcontract, policy and procedure, workflow, etc., continually to ensure a highlevel of customer satisfaction to all stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with management team tocreate an organizational structure that will ensure effective processes andwork designs. 
  • Assists in determining developmentopportunities for staff and teams. 


QUALIFICATIONS

  • A licensed independent medical professional with documented expertise on assessing and evaluating individuals with mental illness and/or dementia. Must demonstrate the ability to determine differential diagnosis.
  • Must have sufficient experience, knowledge, and skills of assessment techniques for both individuals with mental or emotional disabilities and individuals with physical disabilities
  • Must have a minimum of three years managing staff with this expertise.
  • Collaborates with team members,management teams, and corporate support teams to improve processes, determinetraining needs and improvement opportunities. Participates in budget review andmanagement.
  • Partners with management and corporate teamfor the enhancement of the Contract and related new business.
