Administrative Assistant

Responsible for supporting the administrative needs of the program office.  Performs a variety ofclerical duties such as maintaining files for correspondence, medical records,appointment setting, and other contract requirements; preparing and mailingletters, and responding to routine inquiries and questions.  

  • Professionally administers all incoming calls, ensuring phone calls areredirected appropriately and accurate messages are taken, greets guests in aprofessional friendly, hospitable manner; arranges for conference calls and teammeetings as directed. 
  • Ensures timely and proper handling andsafeguarding of classified, confidential, private or sensitive material; entersdata into various software programs, and performs special projects asrequired.  
  • Additionally, maintains thereception area to be clean, orderly, and professional in its appearance. May be assigned other duties to meet business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • AAdegree or equivalent work experience;
  • Atleast  2 years of office experiencerequired, preferably in a healthcare setting;
  • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills;
  • Computerskills, including word processing and spreadsheets in MS Office;
  • Abilityto manage multiple tasks;
  • Proficientin use of office equipment, including faxes and copiers;
  • Excellentphone and face-to-face etiquette;
  • Customerservice driven
