Job Description

Project Director – Healthcare

Provides overall day-to-day direction and supervision to the Program.  Directs program to ensure efficiencies, deliverables and assigned contract functions are performed to the highest standards to strengthen the relationships with customers and meet contract requirements.  

  • Facilitate and coordinate the activitiesof multiple work groups, teams or operational units.  Direct oversight of all management levelstaff. 
  • Ensure compliance with contractualrequirements within the operation by monitoring critical indicators,deliverables and budgets. 
  • Establish and maintain effectivecustomer rapport and mutually beneficial business relationships.
  • Draw on expertise of staff and othersfor business implementations. Assemble and deploy the resources necessary toensure success.
  • Develop regional long-term andshort-term operating and financial goals including budgets and forecasts toensure effective operations and optimum profitability.
  • Work with management team to develop andenhance the operational structure including skill set requirements, gapanalysis and training plans through workforce analysis.
  • Participate in cross-regional activitiesto enhance operating efficiencies and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Support and participate in strategicplanning and execution to enhance growth, profitability, productivity, andefficiency throughout the company’s operations. Collaborate with leadership inthe development of new and enhanced policies and procedures. 
  • Assist in the implementation ofcontracting strategies and programs that reduce cost as well as maximizerevenue streams.  Monitor the technicalperformance (which includes adherence to schedule and cost requirements),resource planning, and evaluations of the services provided by KEPRO. 
  • Provide advice and assistance in theplanning, implementation and evaluation of modifications to new and existingoperations, systems, and procedures.
  • Represent the organization at internal,local, state, and national meetings.


  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in program development/management within the Healthcare/MCO field
  • Master’s degree required
  • Must have demonstrated recent knowledge/experience:
      • Healthcare Management Services.
      • Government policy and structure.
      • Metrics, productivity measures and reporting.
      • Regulatory agency compliance.
      • Contract development and implementation.
      • Budget and financial oversight of programs.
  • Able to lead and manage direct reports to achieve contract deliverables.
  • Aptitude for systems planning and prioritization of tasks
  • Ability to provide supervision to staff that ensures excellent customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of qualityimprovement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of businessdevelopment, strategic planning and tactical implementation.
  • Skill in examining andre-examining operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing andimplementing new strategies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of healthcareindustry; preferably with experience in both public and private sector.
  • Provide consultation to contractor on system and policy issues.
