Finance Intern

Summary Description

  • The Finance Internship Program is temporary position that aligns with the traditional college / university semesters or summer employment.

Accountabilities

  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis for departmental projects and initiatives.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to operating management identifying trends and key variance drivers.
  • Create abstracts on RFPs identifying cost drivers, opportunities and risks
  • Create new and dynamic business models and come up with profitable strategies
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an accredited Finance Bachelor’s degree program and have completed the Sophomore year by the time the position commences.
  • Minimum unweighted 3.0 GPA out of a 4.0 grade point average scale
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Skills, Knowledge Abilities (SKA)             

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, technological, and communication skills
  • The ability to work effectively on a team and to work autonomously, proactively identifying necessary next steps
  • Passion for finance and technology

Experience

  • Successful completion of core Accounting and Finance courses
