Lead RN ClinicalAssessors - Healthcare

Coordinates the activities of Clinical Assessmentstaff.  Conducts assessments and determinations for State Programs;assures accuracy and timeliness of all assessments anddeterminations.  Assesses, evaluates and addresses daily work load;adjust work schedules daily to meet the assigned work.  Analyzesproductivity of staff. Meets and maintains all applicable State and Federallaws, rules, and regulation regarding implementing and administering.

Maintains current knowledge base related to processes andpractices related to the assessment processes; functions as the initialresource to Clinical Assessor regarding all assessment/determination processquestions and/or concerns.

Qualifications

  • Active, RN required
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience working directly with populations receiving assessments or Developmental Screens (e.g., individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, individuals with mental and/or behavioral health conditions, individuals with physical disabilities, and/or the elderly).
  • Must have the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform and manage assessments which shall include skillsets in organization; time management; ability to address difficult questions and problematic individuals; effective communication; and knowledge of adult learning strategies.
  • Must be linguistically competent in the English or Spanish language or in ASL or with the assistance of non-verbal forms of communication including assistive technology and other auxiliary aids, as appropriate to the individual being assessed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential.  Organizational skills, ability to plan and prioritize multiple assignments essential
  • Customer-focused, results-oriented and capable of building and maintaining relationships with customers; demonstrated expertise in managing differing needs.
  • Ability to participate as a team member fostering collaborative decision-making among leadership, committees, teams or work groups of diverse composition.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office applications and other software programs preferred.
