Lead Review Assistant

Tuesday-Saturday 12:30pm-9:00pm

  •  Responsible for assisting Supervisor with the oversight of the Review Support area and staff.
  • Maintains working knowledge of internal policies, procedures and services (both departmental and operational.)
  • Assists with monitoring productivity and quality standards of department to meet contract deliverables within budgetary parameters.
  • Performs CSR functions according to KEPRO’s philosophy of Quality of Care.


  • High School diploma or GED required.  Medical terminology and/or transcription certification or coursework strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years prior demonstrated customer service experience in a healthcare or insurance environment. Directly related or relevant transferable skills may be considered for this position.
  • Experience preparing cases for medical review, medical terminology and quality assurance practices preferred.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, facilitation skills and a strong team ethic is a must; ability to support and positively influence a team environment.
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; works well in group problem solving situations; maintains a calm demeanor in difficult situations.
  • Responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments.
  • Speaks clearly and persuasively in a variety of situations under varying circumstances; listens and obtains clarification
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner under hectic and changing conditions.
  • Previous workload management experience strongly preferred
  • Strong critical thinking skills necessary.
  • MS Office skills and knowledge of KEPRO systems and databases required.
