Manager, Quality Assurance

Ongoing planning, development, and maintenance of internal monitoring program for review activities performed by Review Services. Assess the needs of the Review Services staff and develop educational material relative to those needs.

  • Will perform the daily functions of the review process to determine if program goals and procedures are being met, health and safety issues are being addressed and services are both adequate and appropriate
  • Will evaluate whether providers are meeting the needs of recipients, complying with State regulations and guidelines and are providing services efficiently and effectively
  • Ensures IRR compliance and enforces QA performance standards
  • Flexible work hours and extensive travel will be required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, business, health administration, management, or public health required.
  • Master’s Degree in related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Adaptability to handle change independently
  • Ability to plan and prioritize multiple assignments/contracts
  • Business development skills-identify expansion opportunities
  • Decision making ability
  • Knowledge of CQI tools/methodologies
