SharePoint Administrator

FLSA STATUS:Exempt


Summary Description

Design, build, and configure SharePoint online sites and site collections. Proficient in both front and back-end development. Responsible for planning, design and maintenance of SharePoint sites as well as ASP.NET content management system driven sites.


Accountabilities

  • Act as the SharePoint Online subject matter expert for KEPRO ITS
  • Ability to gather business requirements and objectives and implement SharePoint solution
  • Provide day to day management of the SharePoint Online environment to include, but not limited to, site creations, maintenance of logs, usage reports and alerts
  • Manage system security, access controls, and user permissions while ensuring compliance with KEPRO security guidelines and procedures
  • Possess the ability to work in a team environment with a business group to translate business requirements into solutions, solving potentially complex problems
  • Maintain consistent, quality documentation to meet ongoing operations and business continuity requirements
  • Transfer knowledge to key technical staff to ensure the sustainability of the SharePoint Online environment
  • Provide project status reports as requested by management
  • Other needs that are relevant to the success of the O365/SharePoint Online environment


Qualifications

  • Required:  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or an approved related field, or an equivalent combination in education and experience.  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

Knowledge of:

  • Extensive SharePoint administration and application experience including SharePoint Online
  • Implementation and management of corporate intranet in SharePoint Online
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell
  • Strong development skills in .NET and front-end technologies like JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML 5
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer
  • Experience with Web services
  • Experience with custom web parts

Preferred:

  • SharePoint Administration certification (O365)
  • Familiarity with development methodologies and guidelines.
  • Good understanding of the development process and its components.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare industry.

Ability to:

  • Ability to program, test, and debug new and existing software systems.
  • Ability to read and write technical documentation.
  • Ability to read and write queries in SQL language. 
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skill for effective verbal communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical internal/external customers.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute both as an individual and a team member to achieve the goals of the team.
  • Adapt to flexible work hours

Experience 

  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in related field.
  • Experience with healthcare data preferred.
  • Experience with business and system requirements.
  • Experience handling multiple priorities
