Supervisor, Clinical - RN, LSW, LISW

Summary Description

Responsible for the supervision and day-to-day activities of the Clinical Team. Responsible for assigning individual acuity levels for every new individual within six months of enrollment on the OHCW. Mentors, coaches and trains team members in the clinical management process to ensure quality and contract deliverables are met. Using independent judgment utilizes clinical knowledge and competence, communication skills, problem solving and conflict resolution to effectively ensure optimal client outcomes with consideration to payor requirements.  Works effectively with all health care team members internally and externally.


  • Ohio RN w/current, valid and unrestricted license w/minimum five (5) years’ paid clinical experience in Home and Community Based Service (HCBS) and one (1) year management experience - OR -
  • Ohio LSW or LISW w/current, valid and unrestricted license w/five (5) years’ paid clinical experience in HCBS and one (1) year management experience
  • Expertise and experience in gerontology, pediatrics, developmental disabilities, chronic diagnoses, education, child development, vocational services, substance abuse, behavioral health, transition planning or relocation, or independent living skills STRONGLY PREFERRED.
  • Required to pursue ongoing education, certification, and self-development to remain current with case management standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential.
  • Ability to utilize critical thinking and apply sound clinical judgment and assessment skills for decision making.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills required.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Current working knowledge of utilization management, case management, and managed care.
  • Demonstrates the ability to be organized and efficient in prioritizing and managing assignments with minimal oversight and direction. Computer proficiency in Microsoft office and other software programs and the ability to enter and retrieve data from relevant computer systems.
